Burnished Brass Moth (Diachrysia Chrysitis)

I have only ever found this attractive moth in my trap, and it is always worth taking pictures, if it is in good condition. As it has bright metallic brass-golden colouring on the forewings, from which it gets its name. It has two generations a year, moths are on the wing between June and September. The green caterpillars which hibernate feed on stinging nettle.
