From a Juvenile this spider has grown incredibly fast, I am enjoying handling this docile, attractive spider, as a adult it has a green carapace followed by an orange abdomen and metallic blue legs. Colorful from a few months old, It is a heavy webber, my spider has even created large tunnels in her tank enclosure, but she is still on display most of the time, although she always has a dish of fresh water, I have noticed when I occasionally spray her web with water, she will always spend time moving around her web drinking the water droplets, probably what this species would do in the wild. This has to be one of the most beautiful and interesting Tarantulas you can own. Being a inquisitive spider, it always finds and helps itself to mealworms, that I have placed in a dish to stop them escaping, quicker than my other tarantulas.
