This butterfly was filmed in the same location as the Pearl Bordered Fritillary Butterflies, a woodland clearing at Farley Mount, even though I recognized it, I was surprised how small it was, very tiny, if it had a feathery antennae it would look like a moth. When I finished taken pictures it sat on my finger for ages, this was the first and last time I have ever seen this butterfly in the wild. There is usually one generation a year, caterpillars feed on bird's-foot trefoil, and other plants.
