Also named Brazilian Striped Red Rump Tarantula.
A Very attractively marked Tarantula; my spider is growing very fast and usually spends time outside its clay plant pot I have set up, so it does make an interesting display spider. Adults can reach nearly 8" I have been able to handle this spider with care, and as yet shows no aggression towards me. This is becoming a very popular spider and you can see why, it has vertical striping on the legs, with bright red hairs on its abdomen, makes it a lovely tarantula to own.
