Tarragonna Market Heading Andy

Children handling chicks at the Tarragonna Market, Spain.

I sometimes like to include families in my pictures, especially children, but it has sadly become more difficult, such is the stigma over photographers taking pictures of kids, I thought it would not look so bad being on holiday with my family but even they got embarrassed and gave me suspicious looks sometimes, and my teenage daughter asks me to stop taking pictures, its all so ridiculous, I expect some of my pictures of my children when young sat in the bath would now be suspicious. Even I have now lost pictures for fear of upsetting somebody, and not having time to ask permission. It’s easier with a wider lens because you do not have to point the camera directly at the children you are filming. It’s a shame because historic pictures which are an important record for the future is now declining, and as for photographing buildings and public places, **** I dint think I better say any more. Date of picture taken 08/09/09.  Andy Newman©
